Neus Grandia, Carolyn Lefley and Adamina Turek -
DORM
6th April - 3rd May 2007
Artist Talk; Thurs 19th April

‘Dorm’ addresses intimate and complex notions of object, room and thought, explored in three different ways.
Viewfinder is showcasing the work of three recent MA graduates in ‘Dorm’, an exhibition of photographs running from 6th April – 3rd May with a Private View on 5th April 6-9pm.
The work of each photographer is conceptually independent of the others, but finds common ground in the exploration of the bed and bedroom space.
The photographs explore and use both the physicality of fabric and object, and the deep imaginings of the immaterial. The gallery provides a platform for the viewing of these different approaches towards what is a particularly interesting focus: The bedroom and the bed is a place for both function and symbolism, and a site for speculation on the depth of life – sex, birth, death, sleep and dreams. Intimate, bold and thoughtful work from Neus Grandia, Carolyn Lefley and Adamina Turek.
